A Very Special Silver Necklace |

One of my favorite things about giving someone a gift is seeing the expression on their face when they open the package. I always get such joy seeing people open their gifts, even if the gifts aren't from me. This year, my most favorite moment of the entire Christmas season was when our daughter opened her silver necklace that we'd bought for her.
I have to say that my daughter has followed in my footsteps by the fact that she absolutely loves and adores jewelry. I've been buying her inexpensive costume jewelry for as long as I can remember, but now that she's getting a little older, I thought it would be nice to invest in something a little nicer for her and I thought a silver necklace would be perfect. My husband agreed with me, and we agreed on a budget that we'd spend for the silver necklace and I set out long before Christmas to find the perfect piece of jewelry for our daughter. I wanted the silver necklace to be something that she could also wear as she got older, but I was pretty sure that I could find something affordable and timeless.
Sure enough, it didn't take me too long and I came across Blue Topaz and Diamond Necklace and Earring Set. We found the beautiful silver necklace for a great price at Stella Superstore whose great online store can be found by visiting www.stellasuperstore.com. The one thing I loved most about the silver necklace is that it also had a pair of matching earrings which I knew my daughter would absolutely love. I ordered it right away and my husband and I both agreed that the silver necklace was even more beautiful than we anticipated when we opened the box.
After we checked out the silver necklace and earrings to make sure that everything was just perfect, I wrapped it and hid it in the back of my closet. I didn't want my daughter to come across the package and become tempted to open it and have a peek. And before you wonder if she would do that, yes she would. I can't say much though; I did the same thing when I was her age. I couldn't stand waiting until Christmas.
Luckily, she never found the silver necklace and when she opened it Christmas morning, she cried. The expression on her face when she saw the silver necklace for the first time was pure joy and that alone was the greatest gift I could have received this year. |
