I think that I have finally figured out what gift that my wife is buying online for me for Xmas this year. I have been in dire need of a new silver necklace for quite some time, but have put buying one off because I have been shopping for Xmas presents for everybody else in my circle of family and friends. She was telling me the other day that she just got my Xmas present – and like I do every year, I was trying to guess what she got me. When I asked her if she got me a new silver necklace, she winked and blushed, and told me that I would just have to wait and see. I have been married to her for ten years now, so sometimes you can easily read a person once you know them for so long. While I don’t want to ruin the surprise of her gift shopping and holiday prowess, indeed I think that I have finally figured it out. A good approach for me will be to delay purchasing a new silver necklace until after the holidays – this way if she did get me one, it will be all the more special to her when I open my gifts, surprised to find a silver necklace inside.
