jewelry, silver necklaceThis fall I am going to take some jewelry making classes. I love to work with my hands, and have found that I can order silver necklaces pretty affordably online. I want to learn to make pendants for the silver necklaces and give them for Christmas gifts. I have found that nothing relaxes me like arts and crafts. There is a bead store down the street that teaches jewelry making for a small fee. I think it will be really fun to learn to make pendants and other types of jewelry, too. Even though the shop where I'm taking the class sells lots of supplies, I'll probably bring my own from home. I have found that there are some absolutely awesome items available online to make jewelry with or to order as finished products.

Combining color and texture when handcrafting the items I want to give will be so much fun. My sister is encouraging me to take this class to get me out of the house a little more. I work at home and sometimes I need a boost from others to thoroughly enjoy my day. This class will be good for me on several levels: I can meet new people, learn a new skill, and make some beautiful things. jewelry, silver necklace
