Gold Jewelry
I’ve been trying to come up with the perfect gift for my best friend and at this point I’m strongly considering a gold jewelry pendant. Almost one year ago, my friend underwent a non-emergency surgical procedure that should have been routine, but ended up going very wrong. She spent a week in the intensive care unit of our local hospital, and it was touch and go for a while whether she would make it. Thankfully she did, and she’s still with us today, better than ever. She’s mentioned the upcoming anniversary several times, and all that she’s overcome, and I thought it would be nice to have her a customized gold jewelry pendant made that will symbolize the upcoming anniversary and her life.
She loves gold jewelry, and wears a simple gold chain, so I thought a gold pendant would be the perfect addition to the chain, plus be a reminder of how strong she is. The gold jewelry pendant can be a symbol as to how much she is loved not only by me, but also by everyone who knows her. While many people may want to forget a day that could have turned tragic, I believe she sees it as a chance to celebrate the life she’s been given.
