My daughter has gotten to the age where she is accumulating all kinds of costume jewelry. She is becoming very interested in how she looks and putting together the perfect outfit. This includes, shoes, hair and jewelry. The last time I dared to to enter the room in which she resides I saw her dresser top strewn with all sorts of jewelry. I decided on the spot that she needed a jewelry hide out. In other words a jewelry box where she could organize and store her costume jewelry.

The next free time we had together I called her into my home office. We got online together and began looking at jewelry boxes. She was so excited with the idea and chose one that looked like a miniature amoire. After looking at several pages more of jewelry boxes my daughter was absolutely sure she wanted that one. We ordered it and waited.

The jewelry box arrived only a few drys later. My daughter quickly unwrapped the box and took it upstairs to her sanctuary. There she spent several hours sorting through her gems and jewels. She got them organized and placed into the small jewelry armoire. Another right of passage behind us.
