jewelry, gold jewelry

Anyone who knows me knows that I believe there is no such thing as too much jewelry. Gold jewelry, silver jewelry, costume jewelry or custom jewelry, I love it all. That fact alone makes it extremely easy for my friends and family to buy me gifts for any occasion. As you can imagine I have quite a collection and in order to thin it out from time to time I have a tendency to give pieces away that I haven't worn in a while or someone I know admires a particular piece. This year that is very much the case as both my daughter and my niece are now old enough to start wearing jewelry. Over the years when my daughter and niece where growing up and playing "dress up" they were often allowed to play with my costume jewelry. They loved it and I always fealt it was just one way of their developing their fashion sense. I enjoyed it as well and would be a willing participant when they put on a fashion show or beauty pageant.
My sister and I discussed the girls wearing jewelry at length and decided that on each of their upcoming birthdays we would buy them each a piece of jewelry of their very own. It's time they started their own collection. With that in mind I started searching the internet for the perfect piece of jewelry for each of them as well as something reasonably priced. After looking at several  sites both my sister and I decided on this 14 Karat , SILVER & DIAMOND HEART PENDANT for both the girls that I found at Stella Superstore which can be found by visiting their online store at  www.stellasuperstore.com. We thought it would me great to get them matching pieces because they are so close and their birthdays are just days apart next month. Also because the pendant is a mixture of silver and gold they can be worn with both gold or silver chains. My sister and I also agreed that because these are not costume jewelry pieces they would have to be told they could only wear them on special occasions until they could prove to us they would be responsible enough not to lose or break them.
I clearly remember receiving my first piece of real jewelry and how special it made me feel. My mom and dad bought it for me for Christmas and to me I fealt like a princess every time i wore it. I want the girls to feel the same way and know how special they are.
