Buying Gold and Silver Necklaces Provides Permanent Proof of Purchase Record |

Today I decided I would inventory my silver necklaces and gold ones, too, for our home owner's insurance policy. My husband and I have been talking about making a video of our home and possessions, and since it's a dark cloudy day here in Phoenix, I decided that this is a good time to start on that project. Fortunately, I bought all my gold and silver jewelry online so I have a folder in my email account with all the receipts, so all I have to do now is photograph them, match them up with my receipts, and that big part of the task will be finished.
We got motivated to start inventorying what's in the house after talking to a person at a party who does that for a living. She has a digital camcorder and asks her clients to walk her through their homes as they are describing the things they want to document while she films it. When she's done, she sends four copies of the DVD to them and it's up to them to distribute the DVDs to friends or family for safe keeping. I talked to her about my gold and silver necklaces, and she said that it's a good thing I got them online so I have a permanent receipt for my jewelry online which is an indisputable record of their purchase for the insurance company, making claims much easier to process for both them and us.
