silver necklace, jewelryMy favorite time to wear silver necklaces is during the summer months and there are two reasons for this.  The first reason I like to wear silver necklaces during the summer months is that I think they look fantastic with a tan. I think silver jewelry generally looks great on any individual with a warm or dark skin tone because there is more of a contrast. I therefore think that silver necklaces look better on me in summer than they do in winter.
The other reason I like wearing silver necklaces in summer is that they match well with the kind of clothes I wear during that season of the year. I like colorful flowing cotton and linen materials. I like wearing sleeveless sun shirts, sundresses, skirts and loose fitting linen pants. Silver necklaces go well with that kind of feminine but relaxed look. I try to wear jewelry that compliments the outfit that I have chosen on any given day. Hence for me silver necklaces are a hot weather essential and they will always make me think of the balmy summer months.
