Silver Necklace
This morning I was browsing one of my favorite websites for sterling silver jewelry when I came across the most adorable silver necklace. I was actually looking at bracelets in hopes of finding a particular pattern I wanted to wear to a dance that was coming up in about two weeks when the silver necklace caught my eye. It was small and dainty and would be perfect for my niece, who will be turning 10 in about a month.
I made a quick call to my sister to ask her if she thought my niece was old enough to receive a silver necklace from me, and if she would allow her to wear it. I told her about how I’d been looking at bracelets but came across the silver necklace and immediately thought of Megan. She said she knew that Megan would be thrilled and that it would definitely mean I had given her the best birthday gift this year, because she knew that no one could top the silver necklace. Apparently she’s at that age where she’s really starting to notice jewelry and wanting to wear it. I was thrilled at my niece having the silver necklace so I ordered it for her, plus I found the bracelet I was looking for and ordered it too.
