silver necklace


When I was in college, there was this girl, who always wore this unique silver necklace, that seemed to always captivate my attention. To this day I cannot explain the effect the had on me nor can I figure out if it was something about her silver necklace that mystified the eyes. I can still remember the first day I ever saw her. It was about eight in the morning and I had gone down to the cafeteria for breakfast. As I opened the freezer door to get some juice, I looked to my right and the gleam coming from a silver necklace hit my eye in a very special way. I raised my sight just a bit and right above that silver necklace was one of the most beautiful faces I’d ever seen. Normally I would have been tongue tied at the moment but the beauty’s silver necklace gave me a smooth ice breaker. To my surprise she was headed to the same class I was and since I was still drawing a blank, I kept talking about her silver necklace which turned out to be her favorite subject. She explained to me how her dad had given her a very unique silver necklace on her fifteenth birthday and how she has never taken it of since that day. To make a long story short, today that silver necklace beauty is sitting on my couch and she looks as lovely as she did back then.
