However if gold jewelry were all that I had in my collection then I would have no need for a third jewelry box in the near future. I also own a lot of silver necklaces and earrings because I love the sheen that sterling silver has and I enjoy the fact that it really suits my coloring. I also own what some would consider to be junk jewelry. I mean the stuff that is made out of things wood, plastic, leather or beads, sequins, titanium, stainless steel, rhinestones, faux pearls and other materials but does not contain any semiprecious or precious gemstones and is not made of silver, gold or platinum. My mother often gives me these jewelry gifts and to be honest I do not wear them often. These cheap fashion jewelry gifts still come in handy now and again though. If I am dressed casually sometimes cheap and cheerful jewelry actually completes the look better than something more expensive would. The jewelry I decide to wear on any given day largely depends on my mood and the outfit I have chosen to wear.
