For years my daughter has borrowed my jewelry and talked about how she wishes that she had the collection that I did. She talks about how I don’t wear half of the pieces that I own, and while she may be correct in saying that, what she doesn’t know is that even though I may not wear them all, they all have sentimental value attached to them. Now that she’s going to be turning 18, I thought it was about time that she was able to start building her own jewelry collection, so I decided to order her several pieces for her birthday. I know how much she loves jewelry and since I can get it for fantastic prices online, I thought it would make a great gift for her.
My husband and I have bought her several pieces of jewelry over the years, but nothing expensive, so it’s time that we made an investment and bought her something that she can look back upon when she’s older and sharing with her own daughter and remember that we gave her the jewelry for her 18th birthday. Then she’ll understand how I feel.
